There are patches in life; rough patches where you lose yourself. The feelings of inadequacy begin to persist like a summer’s evening drizzle, and the gloomy clouds seem like they are here to stay. We all have them.

As we let out own light shine, we unconsciously give other people permission to do the same

On such days, remember that you are an amazing person.
That someone, somewhere, was touched by your very essence.
That your laughter brightens their world because cheerfulness is contagious.
Even your tears remind them of their humanity and need to be compassionate.
Your need for isolation, reminds them that we all yearn for companionship and the need to be satisfied.
And when you are at your strongest, they will need you to lean on.
Keep Shining, even when you feel like you serve no purpose.
